We've seen variations of Google showing image carousels in the featured snippet position, but this one seems new. If you search for [seo checklist] on mobile you may see a featured snippet that also shows an image carousel that lets you click on the images to see "more results" for that answer.

John Lincoln spotted this and posted it on Twitter. I am not sure if this is a 100% new, because we saw similar variations of this but it might be new.
