Google is experimenting with the new tab view in Chrome. This view brings more Gemini features to the forefront, such as Deep Search and Create Images.
This was spotted by Glenn Gabe, I cannot replicate it right now, and he shared some screenshots on X. Glenn wrote, "The 'New tab' page in Chrome is looking more and more like Gemini... Check those options for Deep Search and Create images right under the search box. And those take you directly to AI Mode after entering your prompt. Again, all part of the roadmap to AI Mode as the default..."
