Google Car Search Discontinued

Google CarDan Barker posted on Twitter that google.com/cars no longer works.

In 2012, Google launched Google cars that allowed you to search for cars by make, model, year, color and so on. That is now gone.

If you visit the page, you get a message from Google that reads:

Thank you for visiting Google.com/cars.

The Google San Francisco Bay Area car search beta program has been discontinued as we focus on building the next version of our experience for car-related searches. Stay tuned for more news!

The page is still indexed by Google, as it still returns a page, but shows it has been discontinued.
