Google News Preference Bug: Stories Not Opening In New Windows

A Google News Help thread reports a small but yet annoying bug some users have to put up with while reading news on Google News.

Google allows users to set a search preference to enable results that you click on to open in a new window. Normally if that is checked off, both on the web search results and on Google News, when you click a link, the result will open in a new browser window.

Starting yesterday, it stopped working. I personally tested this myself on a couple browsers and it does not work. It does however work when you click on web search results, just not on Google News results.

Google has yet to confirm the bug.
