Google Groups Search Expanded To More Forums

A Google Blogoscoped Forums thread reports that Google has expanded their Google Groups search feature to include not just returning results from Google Groups threads but also from forums all over the internet.

For example, a search on adsense in "all groups" returns the first result from WebmasterWorld.com.

Google Groups Search

Clearly, Google has placed Group results at the top, but it is done nicely.

As a side note: This might come in handy, being that Google started migrating their help forums from Google Groups to a specialized help discussion area. They started with AdSense and Chrome and have already moved over others and more are to come, very soon. It might make my life easier to some how search specifically within these help forums for names and then possibly subscribe via RSS. My main issue with the new forums for Google is that profiles only show threads created by that member and not all posts by that member. This may slow me down in finding some useful threads to report on, directly from Googlers. Wonder if Google can add that data to the profile pages, maybe just for me?
