Four New Features for Google Docs Announced

In a Google Groups thread, Syd and Regina of the Google Docs team share some exciting news regarding additional features for Google Docs. These features include:

  • Inviting entire mailing lists as document collaborators and viewers. (more information). The Google Docs blog covers the invitation system in more detail.
  • Save documents as .txt (File menu > Edit > save as .txt)
  • Right-to-left text entry for documents and spreadsheets (more information)
  • The "Collaborate" tab is now called the "Share" tab
