Google +1 Showing Raw Counts In Search Results

Google +1Yesterday, Search Engine Watch noticed Google displaying the Google +1 raw counts in the search results when you were signed out of Google.

Prior, Google only showed the +1 counts in the search results of people within you Google social network. Plus, Google never showed it to those who were logged out.

So we asked Google and Google gave Search Engine Land confirmation that they are "now showing aggregate +1 annotations for signed-out users in search."

Here are some pictures:

Signed In:

Signed Out:

But the raw count when signed out doesn't show for all sites, only very popular sites.

For example, searching for the very popular tech blog, TechCrunch in Google.

Signed In I get the friends of mine who +1'ed it:

TechCrunch Plus One Signed In

Signed out, it shows nothing:

TechCrunch Signed Out Plus One

I wonder what it takes to get your site to show the raw count of +1 data?
