There is nothing wrong with posting such an image. If it were done to a picture of George Bush, I am sure, there will be no objections. It is the Obama people who are very intolerant of any criticism and try to censure everything.

I google imaged Michelle Obama and found that monkey picture in the number one spot. Then I found many, many pages of good pictures of her. As a test, I google imaged George Bush. About about every tenth image had been photoshopped. There are pictures of him eating a cat, touched up to look like Adolf Hilter and several shots of him as a monkey.

Didn't much care for Bush. Think even less of Obama. However, this coarseness in our society hurts all of us.

The negative picture of Michelle Obama has been removed from the number 1 spot, but is still visible on the 4th or 5th pages. Every one who is angry at Google should boycott them and the advertisers.

It's just a picture, albiet an ignorant one. She's a gorgeous and intelligent woman who could probably care less about this stupid picture. We are the idiots(myself included) giving this picture any power by allowing it to provoke anger and discussion. Instead of organizing boycotts, donate your time and energy to an organization in Michelle Obama's name. Volunteering is something the Obama's are passionate about. Racism and intolerance are wrong no matter where they come from. Why do so many seem to think it is exclusive to whites? I can easily name several prominent non-whites who are very racist and intolerant but they are highly regarded and readily defended by many in their own cultures. If you can't see this then maybe you should take a closer look at your own views.

I'm upset at the image, but not too shocked at it being posted, or some of the indifference that some individuals have shown regarding the image. America, at its core, is racist. Although there are many individuals who do not have racist views, we still live in a country that is systematically racist, has a racist justice system, a racist media and run by racist corporations. The fact that Ms. Obama, who has been a class act as First Lady since day one, can be depicted in such a manner is disheartening. Freedom of speech and expression is one thing, but outright disrespect is another. Racism is alive folks, like it or not.

America needs to look itself in the mirror and understand why we are falling behind other countries economically and socially. Why is this considered racist? People don't find her attractive, who cares? There were plenty of nasty images when Bush was in office (no, I do not like him, nor did I vote for him!). Its just a picture. Part of what makes western society so great imo is the freedom to make such an image. Once you starts saying No You Cant Do That - where does it end? This is not just a picture of Michelle Obama as a monkey. There is history to it - for centuries WHITES have made blacks slaves, tortured, killed, raped and plundered their home territories and lands, then passing off their new found wealth as hard earned, and because non-whites are uncivilised. There is a hell of a lot of history through racist culture (just google blacks/africans + money/apes and read some of the comments and articles from said links) and "scientific" research. There are so many derogatory stereotypes, names and so on for blacks (and other non-whites too)... there are very few (if any) for whites, certainly none that carry any global weight.
