SEO Milestones - Users Share Their Past Ranking Success

Came across an interesting thread on Digitalpoint today talking about the past ranking success some of the members have been able to accomplish. Members are sharing first ranking success and some of the tactics used to get there. Besides the chatter, its turned out to be a pretty active and interesting thread. Someone though I think needs to put a disclaimer that MSN doesn't count in this thread, its too easy.

A place to post milestones and and what it took to get there would be a fabuolus info source if it was actually real. We log all of our seo activities for all of our clients so we can look back in the timeline to see what changes caused good and bad results. It is a fabuolus R&D tool.

Unfortunatly, the thread you pointed to is absolute garbage. A bunch of newbies providing zero information. If anyone ever sees a good thread I'd love to know.

Well you expect everyone to spill their secrets??? We may all be friends in the SEO world but we still compete with each other in one form or another. I think you'll be seeing the type of thread your looking for very soon.

I agree with Pk, I don't think the majority of people are going to spill their secrets. The thread was more useful for people sharing their success with others but not exactly mentioning how they did it. Many would not want to for competitive reasons, plus boasting about ranking milestones is not exactly that humble. I will watch for future threads like this and if a better ones pops up I will post about it.
