Richard Trevithick Google Logo

There are many train lovers out there and I am sure many of them will appreciate the logo today on Google UK.

The logo is to remember Richard Trevithick on his birthday. Today in 1771 in Cornwall, England Richard Trevithick was born. He built the first working railway steam locomotive which took its first trip on February 21, 1804.

Richard Trevithick died at 62 years old on April 22, 1833.

You can learn more about him at Wikipedia.

I really like this Google Doodle, do you?
