Searchers Protests Google's New Tablet Search Interface

About a week or so ago, Google quietly launched a new tablet search interface, which took a drastic change from the previous look. It has been a week, plus, and there are still a huge array of complaints in the Google Web Search Help forums.

One option is to use your iPad on iOS 9 and tap and hold the refresh button to bring up the "Request Desktop Site" option. But that doesn't satisfy most users.

There are literally almost 200 posts in the Google Web Search Help thread, all mostly with complaints. I do not see any responses from Googlers yet.

Like anything new Google does to change the status quo, it upsets tons and tons of users. They will learn and live with it.
