Google Place Actions: New Rich Snippet Markup Coming Soon?

Google help document sleuth, Menashe Avramov, posted on Google+ that he spotted a new link in the Google Rich Snippets documentation for "Place Actions."

The new link for "Place Actions" is under the "describe your local business" section with and overview link. Both the links lead to 404ed pages that load no more details. Here is a screen shot of the link but you can see them yourself over here.

I've seen Place Actions mentioned back in 2012 around the Google Places API but not for rich snippets or structured markup. So I wonder if something new is coming out around adding actions directly to the local search results listings. Maybe sign up for coupons, maybe promotion codes, maybe more?

Any clues?
