Google Hotel Search Results With Pricing Trends & Top Rated Data

Local Hotel Lobby Google

Sergey Alakov posted a couple new search features by Google in the local results on Twitter. The first is Google showing pricing trends by day, week, etc for booking hotels. The second is Google shows how well the hotel is rated when you click on the hotel name.

I don't believe the data is new, but the format of showing them in this bar chart is new.

Google is also showing "rated in top 10% hotels in this area" for Trump Hotel in Toronto. Here is a screen shot of that:

Google is very busy, always, tweaking the local user interface, so it is not the easiest to stay on top of these changes.
