Google Maps Adds Google Cardboard Integration

Pegman Google MapsIn case you missed it, Google handed out cardboard to their Google I/O attendees last event. But this little piece of cardboard let you really discover what was not around you. You put them on and you can see a virtual reality like never before, wherever you are.

Google Cardboard posted on Google+ about this yesterday, saying "Google Maps has a simple VR easter egg to visit places like the Burj Khalifa with Cardboard."

They then shared this animated GIF (video) of it in action:
