Google July Fourth

Happy Fourth of July, America's Independence day. If you are wondering why the news is slow or your traffic seems dead, it is because today is a big US holiday.

To celebrate, Google and Bing have special items on their home page, as always. Google has a static Google Doodle with a blue background and red and white colors and of course stars, animals, trees and nature. Bing actually went animated with five different background images on their home page today.

The Google Doodle is above.

Bing has the Statue of Liberty, American flags, parades, fireworks and more.

This image has been removed because of fear of being sued over copyright...
