sew-logo-10-00.jpgSearch Engine Watch, the site many SEOs and SEMs rely on, has turned ten years old this Saturday.

That is huge! A ten-year-old resource on search engines!

Danny Sullivan has been writing about search engines since April 17, 1996 (over ten years ago), but started Search Engine Watch on June 9, 1997. 1997 was well before Google hit the map.

In any event, if you want to read a very enlightening story on Search Engine Watch's history, I strongly recommend you check out Danny's Happy 10th Birthday, Search Engine Watch - A History Of The Site over at Search Engine Land.

Happy birthday Search Engine Watch - we all owe a lot to you as a site, resource, community and leadership.
