Scoble Takes A Shower With Google Glass

Imagine you spend $1,500 on a piece of rare technology that only a couple thousand people have their hands on now. Now, imagine you then take that technology and shower with it.

That is what Robert Scoble did with his Google Glass the other day.

He posted a picture on Google+ showing him showering with Google Glass.

Why in the world would he do that? Well, he knew they would be fine because he walked through a major rain storm with them the previous day and they worked fine. I wouldn't go swimming with them but I guess they handle rain fine - at least I hope.

Scoble made sure to inform everyone that his wife took the picture and not some random person.

This post is part of our daily Search Photo of the Day column, where we find fun and interesting photos related to the search industry and share them with our readers.

Did you really come into this picture of the day just to insult somebody you don't know? The internet: where powerless jerks go mouth off.

I didn't come to the site just to 'mouth off' as you say. I came to the website saw that picture and thought 'what a douchbag'. Who gets their wife to take pictures of them in the shower wearing their 'Google Glass'? It's lame, weird and just plain arrogant. This isn't a good picture. Now go find somewhere else to Troll, you waste of space.

He was doing it not to be a jerk, but to make a point. It is really rain proof. Which is good to know and see. I mean, would have been nicer if he would have used a model but still, he made his point and I appreciate it. Since, I'll be getting Google Glass soon, knowing I can wear it in the rain with confidence, is important.

He intended to look like a bag, why else would you make that face? He's asking for it.

I agree with Guest. It's amazing to see the length people go to only to make sure everybody knows they have this kit. Ah yes, it's rain proof!
