Jorge Luis Borges was born August 24, 1899, 112 years ago today and Google is celebrating his birthday. He is also known as Jorge Francisco Isidoro Luis Borges Acevedo. He was an Argentine writer, essayist, poet and translator. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and died in Geneva, Switzerland at the age of 86 on June 14, 1986.
He is known to bring out in his work the "character of unreality in all literature." And that is was is displayed in today's Google logo for Jorge Luis Borges:

His two most famous books included Ficciones (1944) and The Aleph (1949) and they both incorporated that theme. The theme of science fiction and "magic realism."

Borges was a mysterious person, he had access to the Aleph, where he could see the past, present and future, so I guess he could also have written about the future? http://www.scribd.com/search?query=the+constelogram
