Google's Privacy Notice In EU Regions Gets Obnoxiously Large

Gianluca Fiorelli notified me on Twitter that searches in the EU regions on Google now bring up a really really large privacy notice. The notice is incredibly annoying, obnoxious and makes you want to leave the search results.

This is what it looks like:

click for full size

This is a result of the new EU sentence that came down and I guess Google has to comply this way?

I did some searches on Google.es and saw less annoying privacy notices. But maybe the behavior in Spain, France, etc is different?
