Google Confirms They'd Use Rel=Author If More People Were Using It

At SMX East, Gary Illyes from Google told us to not remove author markup that Google may decide to use it once again in the future. It was an awkward moment at SMX, as I explained already.

But Mark Traphagen quizzed Gary on that one more time on Twitter and Gary said it would be correct to assume that if more webmasters were using authorship, that Google would start using it again.
