Keith Haring Google Doodle

Today on Google.com and most world-wide Google properties, Google is celebrating the short but full life of graffiti artist Keith Haring.

Keith Haring lived only 31 years, born on May 4, 1958 and dying from AIDS-related complications on February 16, 1990 - he was known as one of the leading graffiti artists and a huge social activist.

Today, on his would be 54th birthday, Google has a special logo that brings back to life his work in the form of a Google logo, aka Google Doodle.

The logo is pretty sweet!

I recall seeing some of Haring's work on walls in New York, many years ago. It's a shame that he died young. His work may have looked simple, but it embodied an uplifting, playful quality.
