Google has quietly killed off the home page for the Google Hotel Finder, now when you try to access it, you are taken to this page which tells you the home page is gone and now you can access hotel results in Google search properties.

Google Hotel Finder Home Page Shuts Down

Thanks for visiting Hotel Finder.

You can now search for hotels right on Google and in Google Maps and get a list of hotels with prices, photos, reviews and Street View panoramas.

Google has been expanding the feature sets of Google Hotel Finder recently but I guess it doesn't need a home page, it can do well within core search.

Brad Brewer spotted this and posted it on Google+ saying "Only days after DOJ gives +Expedia go-ahead to acquire +Orbitz, #Google sunsets Hotel Finder website and brings signed-in only rates, photos and reviews to Google Search and Google Maps!"

Forum discussion at Google+.

Update: Later on today, Google announced changes on Google Hotel Ads.
