Bing It On: Is Bing Really Preferred To Google?

Bing It On

Bing announced that based on their blind taste testing of Bing versus Google, searchers tend to prefer Bing search results to Google "nearly 2:1."

Do you find that hard to believe? Bing wants you to try the blind taste test yourself at bingiton.com. Try it, I did. When you are done, tell me who won in the poll below:

A WebmasterWorld thread has mixed results but seems that Google is edging out so far. One searcher said, "I'm definitely not a big fan of Google, but unfortunately my result came out 4 to 1 in their favour."

The folks at Hacker News also seem to prefer Google, more in the long tail.

So take it, and let me know in the poll above who won.

FYI, I ran a blind taste test back in 2005 named RustySearch, a blast from the past!
