Chris Sherman posted a Search Engine Watch article named 2005 in Review: The Best Search Engine Watch Forum Posts. He asked Elisabeth Osmeloski, the forum editor, to flag the most popular threads of 2005 and came up with the list. I wish every forum did that, I wish I did a roundup of the top 2005 threads at all forums, but that is a ton of work. Anyway, here is the list but I will link to both our coverage of the threads here and the forum thread.
- A thread named Keywords Co-occurrence and Semantic Connectivity which we posted a link to under the title of Orion, Dr. E. Garcia, SEW Forum Posts
- A thread named Major Google Changes: Latent Semantic Analysis which we posted a link to under our title of Latent Semantic Analysis (LSA) - Crawl into the Google Algorithm?
- A thread named How Long Does It Take For Search Engines To Remove Spam Sites? which we posted a link to under our title of Spam Reporting.
And more, visit the SEW Article for more information.

This is a great idea. I think that all of the blogs and forums should point back at the best of the best. Hearing things twice is good for long term memory and it also gives us a chance to confirm what is really true.
