As many of you know, Google has an ad grant program where non profits can apply and qualify for up to $10,000 a month in free budgets in AdWords. There was also a program called Grantspro which offered up to $40,000 a month for premium level non profits. Well, the Grantspro program has halted accepting new applications and they will be only accepting non profits at the normal $10,000 monthly budget level going forward.

The support page reads "the Ad Grants team is no longer accepting Grantspro applications." The Grantspro program offers eligible Ad Grantees an increased budget cap of $40,000 USD per month instead of the standard $10,000 USD per month. In this program, your daily budget of free advertising spend may be up to $1,315 USD. Not bad.

Google offered a statement in the Google AdWords Help forum saying:

The Ad Grants team is no longer accepting applications for the Grantspro program as part of new efforts to streamline the program. This update aside, the program will continue to remain open and free to all eligible nonprofits.

Ari Nahmani from Kahena actually was the first to tip us off on this, which resulted in Google sending us a statement.
