Googles 18th Birthday Logo

Google has a fun Doodle, aka Google logo, for their 18th birthday today. It is a global Doodle, unlike last year where their own birthday was trumped by the NFL.

This Doodle leads to the question [when is google's birthday]. You would think the obvious answer is today, September 27th - but in the past, they did celebrate it on September 7th, September 8th, September 26th, even on September 4th, but in the most recent years, Google has been consistent with September 27th. So now, the answer should be September 27th.

The Doodle is fun, it has the G logo blowing up party balloons that form the shape of the rest of the Google logo and then it gets flown away by it's own logo.

Google actually didn't write up anything about this years Doodle yet on the Doodle page.

This Doodle has 156 slides that make up the animated GIF.

Happy Birthday Google! 18 is a big number!

We even matched our theme on this site to match the Google logo, somewhat:
