Search for [nest thermostats] in Google and you will see the Google Knowledge Graph show up on the right side of the results. It is one of those sponsored or ad driven knowledge graphs but this one has the 3D image icon near it.
Here is a picture of it in action:
Google launched 3D product images in 2012 within Google Shopping but has never shown them in the Google search results, that is until now.
