Today is Canada Day, celebrating the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act, 1867), which united three British colonies into a single country, called Canada, within the British Empire (via Wikipedia).

If you go to Google Canada today at google.ca you get a boring and standard logo:

Google Canada

Last year Google had a special logo for Canada Day, it looked like this:

Google Canada Day

Bing, Google's main competitor is celebrating Canada Day on all their main properties, even on Bing US, with this theme:

Bing Canada Day

Even Yahoo Canada has a special animated logo:

So what is up Google? Did you forget your Canadian neighbors?
