More Google Map Quick Links in Search Results

Last night, I was at my sister-in-laws for thanksgiving (my favorite holiday) and I was sent upstairs to the computer to look something up. While doing that, I decided to geo tag some of my most recent pictures. I had to look up the address for the Palms hotel to I can map them on Flickr. I typed in "palms las vegas, nv" with the intent of finding the address. Up came this Google Maps link that dynamically opened up a map and address details. I was like, wow this is perfect, I copied the address into Flickr and I was done with my search, right from the search page. Replicating that, was not possible this morning on my Mac.

But like I reported this Monday at Search Engine Watch Blog, via a confirmed Matt Cutts Threadwatch post, this is a Google test.

This morning, Gabs, an all-star member of our forums, posted a thread at Search Engine Roundtable Forums with a link to his blog post named New google serps layout.. map included!. His post has more screen captures.

I loved how it saved me a step and didn't take up that much room. I believe other search engines do this as well. But I forgot specific examples.
