Premium Sponsors:
Search Engine Roundtable Premium Sponsors are the graphical advertisements located on the left side of the page. We currently have a limit of 6 premium sponsors for individually both the blog and the forums. For current ad rates, please contact us at advertising@seroundtable.com or via our contact us page.

Premium Sponsors Rules:

  • One of six advertisements on the left
  • Ad will receive 100% share of page impressions of either the blog or forum section
  • Ad creative is 125 x 125 pixels
  • 8K file size limit
  • No animation or flash ads
  • We ask for the ads to not be too distracting from the content

Bronze Sponsors:
Search Engine Roundtable Bronze Sponsors are the text advertisements located on the bottom left side of the page. Although these ads do not get as much visibility, relative to the premium ads, sponsors do buy them in order to show appreciation for the work we do here. They are available on both the blog and the forums. For current ad rates, please contact us.

Bronze Sponsors Rules:

  • 30 characters long, including spaces
  • Ad will receive 100% share of page impressions of either the blog or forum section
  • Ad should be relevant to the site's audience
  • Ad may be nofollowed upon request
  • We ask for the ads to not be too distracting from the content

More About The Search Engine Roundtable Ad Sections

The Search Engine Roundtable has two main divisions; the first is the primary blog portion of the site; the second is the discussion forum portion of the site. Both divisions have different rates. To learn more about our rates, please contact us.

The Blog:
The blog was launched in 2003 and is known as the most read search engine related blogs on the Internet. The blog has won several awards and has received recognition from Google, Yahoo!, Microsoft Live and Ask Jeeves as an authority in the search engine related news and tips. The Forum:
The discussion forum was launched in December 2005 as an extension of the blog community. The Search Engine Roundtable forum has some of the most well known moderators volunteering at the blog on a daily basis. Here are some of the statistics for the site for April 2007. The data is compiled from Urchin 5.5 analytics and with Google Analytics for accuracy.

The Forum:
The discussion forum receives significantly less traffic than the main news portion of the site (i.e. the blog). In April, the forum received about 7,000 unique visitors and almost 20,000 pageviews.

The RSS:
In April 2007, on average our feed subscriber numbers were at about 12,000 subscribers according to FeedBurner. We have two unique feeds, so it is a compilation of the two statistics for April's results. Google Reader is the most popular RSS reader with about 40% share, followed by Bloglines with about 17%, Netvibes with 11% and then email subscriptions using FeedBlitz with 8% share.
