Google is now showing shopping ads in a carousel format and singular ad unit inline within AI Mode results. Plus, Google is also showing a similar ad unit at the bottom of the AI Mode results. We got a lot of ads in AI Mode now, and I guess Google is looking for more and more ways to monetize those ads.
Brodie Clark posted about this on the SERPalerts account on X and wrote, "This is a big change to ads within Google's AI Mode!" He said, "The Shopping ads carousel is now showing inline within the response for the first time, alongside an additional ad unit at the bottom."

Clearly, Google really wants searchers to click on these ads in AI Mode.
