Google Ads Filled

Google Ads added a new section to the how asset groups work help documentation for pre-fill asset groups with generated assets. This section goes over new features like in-construction callout and automatic pre-fill.

Google writes that with these pre-fill asset groups, "you can help ensure that your Performance Max campaigns meet "Excellent" Ad Strength by importing projects with generated assets that you created in Asset studio."

It then has these two new "key features" that include:

  • In-construction callout: If you navigate to campaign creation from scratch, a callout will appear during the asset group setup step reminding you that assets from your recent project are ready. You can review and apply them with a single click.
  • Automatic pre-fill: If you select to create a campaign directly from the asset studio workspace, your headlines, long headlines, descriptions, images, and videos are automatically prefilled into your asset group.
