Want your video content to show up more often as a video thumbnail and play button in the Google search results? Heck, I do.

Google announced they, as well as Bing and Yahoo, have added support for schema.org video markup. All you need to do is specify itemscope, an itemtype=”http://schema.org/VideoObject”, and set the name, description, and thumbnailURL properties. Also you need to either specify the embedURL or the contentURL.

I hope to implement it here asap. I already do the video sitemaps for Google and mRSS feed for iTunes.
