I am seeing some early signs that there may be a Google search algorithm update rolling out this morning. There is some early chatter in some of the forums and some, not all, of the automated tracking tools are also showing changes.
Again, this is very early, it might be a little blip in the radar but I think there is enough signals for me to report this as possible happening this morning. Be on the look out over the next 24 hours to see if your rankings in Google search have fluctuated a lot or not and if your traffic has changed at all.
The WebmasterWorld and Black Hat World have some limited chatter, here are some of those comments:
I keeping banging the same drum, but something is broken for sure. On mobile search, when clicking 'more results' on page 1, the first two results of the next page are repeats of the results in 9 and 10. Our own site sometimes appears, sometimes doesn't. I've never seen things in such disarray.
SEMrush sensor is really high this morning: 8.8 and 9.2 for the UK. Other European databases are similar.
Noticed huge drop in organic traffic of all my clients from industries like finance, healthcare, travel etc.

Any update is happening or any bug in @googleanalytics tracking (as i didn't notice any ranking drop) ?

Some people think it is the UK only but I am not sure if that is true. Again, it is super early, so I am hoping it isn't major but we will see.
