Panda shuffles are also happening, the search results are fluctuating way too much. Google said old blog posts that are quality do not hurt you with Penguin. I want Google to release an automated action viewer already. Google’s In The News Box goes global and sometimes shows sponsored content. Be alert and don’t let people hack into your Webmaster Tools account. Bing added an image filter for animated GIFs. Google revamped their local results and got rid of that ugly carousel at the top. Google Maps and other apps wen with the material design. Google Consumer Surveys now shares 50% of their revenue with participating publishers. Google AdWords added new bulk management tools, new local forwarding numbers, bid strategies reports and may now show up to three locations in a local ad. Oh, and they may have updated their quality score algorithm. I published the monthly Google Webmaster report, which really is a must read. You should look into adding Google Now Actions into your Android apps. Bing adds new mobile user agents to better crawl the mobile web.
