This week was an interesting week in the search space, we had Google telling on Bing for cheating and a girlfriend spamming her boyfriend on Google - too much fun. Google's scraper algorithm is live, it filters out low quality scraper sites. The content farm algorithm is not live but we have tips to help those impacted by the scraper filter. We also summarized the past month of Google SEO news. Google said again that they do not index or discover new content via their toolbar. Google hopes to include reversed 404 pages sooner. The AdWords titles may now include the first line description, I am not a fan. Google search results may now include hotpot content, such as reviews and photos. Google admitted they have an issue with owner verified replies on place pages. I recapped the story of Google telling on Bing for cheating on the search results - but who is wrong and who looks bad? Finally, a girlfriend was so mad at her ex-boyfriend she spammed Google images as payback - crazy but interesting. That was this past week at the Search Engine Roundtable. Happy New Years!
