Google Search Bug Showing Only URLs, No Title Or Descriptions, In Search Results

In the past 24 hours or so, I had numerous reports sent to me that searchers are seeing only URLs for the Google search results snippets. The title and description portion of the snippets were missing.

Talk about a minimalistic user interface Google! Here is one of the screen shots sent to me, this one is from Karen who posted it on Twitter:

Obviously this is just a bug and I assume by now Google has fixed it but I saw numerous reports of this over the past 24 hours.
