Last week we reported how many businesses in Google My Business were noticing Google adding a new category to their listing named "POI Establishment." Google supposedly began fixing this Thursday evening but now many are noticing it read "Point of Interest" instead of "POI Establishment."

Joy Hawkins posted in the Local Search Forums "Update: Google just let us know that the issue has been fixed. As systems re-process it might take until next week for all listings to take effect."

But here is what I am many now see:

Point Of Interest

This is what it looked like last week:

Google My Business Category POI Establishment

So I am not sure if it is fully fixed or something else is going on?

Many those that confirmed the POI Establishment are now stuck with Point Of Interest instead?

Others who did not confirm the original change may have seen them disappear?
