Google We Currently Do Not Support The LocationAbout two weeks ago we reported about a potential bug in Google Places where business owners were receiving a message from Google that we currently do not support this location.

The issue seems to still be there but it is more of a communications issue than a technical bug.

Vanessa from the Google Places team said in a Google Places Help thread that the message is normal and it goes away in about a week. She is looking into ways to change the message so it is clearer what business owners expectations should be after they submit a listing.

She said:

Have you just recently verified your listing, and your Active listing says "We currently do not support this location" on it? Please note that it may take up to a week from the time you've verified that listing to appear on Google Maps.

I'm looking into how we can better message that to you guys and will let you know when I have any updates.
