Google Instant OperaA Google Web Search Help thread has reports of a really annoying Google bug that happens when Opera browser users try to use Google on some machines.

The issue is, Google is auto-submitting the search of the first letter as you type it. For example, if you load up Opera, go to Google and want to search for [flowers], Google will see the f and before you have time to type the l, Google will submit a query for the letter f.

The bug was first reported on Wednesday and a Googler responded to it on the thread on Friday saying:

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Thanks also to Bluequoll for keeping up on this. I just wanted to let you know that we're currently investigating this issue, and will come back with updates as soon as we have them.
