Bing LogoIn the latest Bing blog post, Duane Forrester wrote that Bing Webmaster Tools also has search ranking data.

Duane explains that ranking data isn't really where SEOs should focus for a lot of reasons but then goes on to explain that the data has a place. He said:

Spotting trends on which pages are gaining traction is a critical part of any SEO's day. This information allows you to run experiments and watch for the best performers across multiple tactics.

So let me twist his words a bit and rephrase that.

Duane is implying that SEOs can use ranking data to find exploits in the search algorithm and exploit those tactics used to achieve those rankings more globally on their sites by better measuring keyword ranking data?

Either way, Duane does an outstanding job explaining how to pull out ranking data from Bing Webmaster Tools.
