Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.

Search Engine Roundtable Stories:

  • Google Won't Admit Wrong: Shows More Results From Single Domain But Compact Style
In August Google thought it would be a good idea to show searchers, for some queries, a page filled of results from a single domain. I personally thought it was a horrible idea but Google doesn't really listen to my advice. So it continued that way, until now. This beta program will allow some AdSense publishers to block 170 more specific categories, including finance, travel, job, and automotive. This feature will allow publishers to block up to 50 ad categories from among a broad range
  • Can You Name The Best SEO Advice You Ever Received?

I am sure this happens in other industries, but I have taken a liking to this one. That being said, Matt McGee started a thread at Sphinn asking SEOs to share the best SEO advice they ever received. Matt asked:
