Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.

Search Engine Roundtable Stories:

  • PubCon 2008: We'll Be There, and Here's Our Schedule
Pubcon is a matter of days and Search Engine Roundtable is here to serve. Among guestbloggers Avi Wilensky of Promediacorp, Dave Rohrer, Arnie Kuenn of Vertical Measures, and Marty Weintraub of aimClear, plus with Barry and myself, we have over 50 sessions covered. Here's the tentative schedule: Tuesday, November 11, 2008 9:00AM-9:45AM Kickoff Keynote Address by Tamar Weinberg 10:00AM-11:20AM Top-Shelf Organic SEO by Arnie Kuenn PPC Engine Vendor Panel by Avi Wilensky Understanding the Complex
  • Track Your Google Links Over Time with glync
Russ Jones over at The Google Cache talks about a new tool he released for public consumption. It's called glync and gives you historical data of links you have accrued over time using Google Webmaster Tools. There is a free version (for up to 30 days of tracking) and a pro version with more time, valued at $5/month. Here's a video: What do you think? Forum discussion continues at Sphinn.
  • Google's AdWords Forum Moves: We Are Tracking Them

In honor of the move, she posted the latest tip, Where Are My Clicks Coming From? Using The Geographic

  • Google AdSense Finally Fixed Manage Ads Color Picker
About 8 or so months ago, we reported an issue with the AdSense color picker, where it would not save the color in the manage ads area. An updated WebmasterWorld thread seems to have AdSense publishers confirming that this is now working again.
