mature labelDid you know that if you want to use any other web browser on iOS, i.e. your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, you must be 17 years or older? Otherwise, you are stuck with Apple's Safari browser.

Take a look at the warnings on Chrome for iOS and Opera for iOS and you will see a warning that says the app may contain "Frequent/Intense Mature/Suggestive Themes," and thus "you must be at least 17 years old to download this app."

Thomas Baekdal said on Google+ that this is "anti-competitive behavior" and Apple should be hit with "an antitrust lawsuit" over this. Well, the truth is through these apps you can get to very explicit content, so I guess the label makes sense? But does Safari need or come with the same label? Nope.

Chrome iOS Warning

What do you think? Anti-competitive or just the rules?
